My idea

Active participation is central to the work we do, being physically and spiritually present, and working side by side with the residents of the communities which we are called to serve.  Over 100 PCWE missioners and alumni understand that the sweat equity commitment is as important that the financial commitment. PCWE teams typically volunteer to work on a project for a full week each year, eliminating any perception that our work is merely a brief photo opportunity.  We feel strongly that our work represents a game-changing commitment between people who may live worlds apart in so many ways, but who have much more in common that one might originally imagine. It’s unquestioned that PCWE missioners get more than they give through their participation in our unique mission work.
